The EU spent € 139.97 million to support a massive 78,045 SMEs across the EaP, of whom 24,444 (31.32 percent) were women-owned.

The EU-supported SMEs in EaP countries created 66,678 new jobs, growing jobs by 8.87%.

Across the region, SMEs supported by the EU grew on average in 2021 by 26.23 percent, generating an extra € 2.03 billion for their respective economies.
