EU4Business: Connecting Companies’ (EU4BCC) is a project managed by Eurochambres
The EU4Business: Connecting Companies is a project managed by Eurochambres and funded under the EU4Business initiative of the European Union. The EU4BCC project has been extended until December 2023.
This project aims to support sustainable economic development and job creation in in the EaP countries by helping SMEs to grow- especially by promoting increased trade, encouraging inward investment, and fostering business links with companies in the EU.
In the EU4Business: Connecting Companies, 5 Sectorial Consortia have been selected through call for proposals. Each Consortium will comprise a minimum of 1 EU and 1 EaP Chambers (maximum 4 EU & EaP Chambers per sector) who will manage the selected sector aiming at the implementation of the long-term strategy developed by Board of Experts towards improving the competitiveness of the sector covered.
A call for proposals has been issued twice (B2B matching, twinnings, and study visits) to the partnerships applying for a sub-grant.

Each consortium monitored the implementation of the activities on the ground (B2B matching, twinnings, and study visits) and 5 sectoral conferences are organised, one per target sector, to showcase the results achieved by the projects that were developed within each sector as well as to allow a broad discussion among stakeholders on key issues affecting each of these key areas of activity.
With the beginning of 2023, the project is offering 4 new activities aiming at continuing the support to the business community in the EaP. These activities will have both SMEs and BSOs as final beneficiaries and intend to help develop new business contacts, increase trade exchange, as well as encourage the exchange of best practices and tools.
The Final Conference of the EU4BCC project will take place in Brussels in June 2023. The conference will present a summary of the activities implemented, the results achieved as well as sectoral policy recommendations aiming at promoting increased trade, encouraging inward investment, and fostering business links.
The Final Conference will be an opportunity to look at the lessons learned while allowing the project stakeholders to meet, once again, and network.
